I never write reviews but had to for this place....came for lunch and got the Kalbi plate, poke and a slice of the guava cake. Ate in the parking lot out of the trunk of my car. I’ve been a chef for 10 years and I’m not lying when I say this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Food was delicious and homey and perfect. The owners were so sweet and inviting. Thank you!!!
Authentic and reasonably priced. The seating area is quite small with two tables that sits 4 and some bar stools. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The guava cake is heavenly delightful, light, fluffy, not too sweet. They sell some Hawaiian souvenirs as well.
I recently moved to Marysville & had been craving teriyaki. I Googled some near me but fortunately this lil Gem popped up as well. A quick glance at the menu & I forgot all about teriyaki! I got the Beef Loco Moco and it was awesome! Every ingredient (rice, beef, egg, gravy) tasted fresh flavourful. My friend got the Mochiko/Kalua Pig Combo and loved it, said it was delicious & authentic (not sure how he'd know, but he definitely meant it to be a compliment) & my daughter gobbled up her mini Mochiko. Can't wait to try so many other things on the menu, including the desserts! The little shop was super welcoming, clean & had such a good vibe. I'll eat in for sure next time. The young lady who handed me my order was sweet and friendly. I'm definitely a new fan of this place. Oh, and there's a selection of teriyaki items on the menu as well! Enjoy!
Not only do they have the best guava cake I've ever had, it might actually BE the best cake I've ever had. The food is so flavorful! Absolutely will be back as soon as I can.
If you are a Haupia cake fan, this place makes one of the most amazing ones I have ever had. Wow! Their food is awesome but that cake is far better than anything I have ever tasted. So moist and fresh. I believe it is a special Order item but believe me it’s worth it to buy an entire cake!
Where do I start? The food is amazing, staff is amazing, and the restaurant is small and cute/cozy. The prices are very affordable and there are many options to choose from, so many that you will have a hard time picking! My step mom is Hawaiian so I always try to find authentic Hawaiian food everywhere I go. I am a returning customer !
This place is THE spot in Marysville the last few years. If you want home style Hawaiian food come here. So many of my peers had posted this place I had to finally try it, I do have to say, I was VERY pleased! Shoyu Chicken is my favorite, 10/10. Kris, who I did not realize was the owner gave exceptional service. I would highly recommend coming to Taste of Aloha!
Just east of 6th and state st, in the little business village on 6th, south of Nova reptile, hides taste of aloha krachelz ohana, it's a small local spot with a huge taste! Everything on the menu is delicious, I prefer the combo plates, and the dessert's! Ask about lunch specials and a cash special!
